Becky:
Clothes
- 1 microfleece
- 2 long sleeved shirts
- 3 short sleeved shirts
- 2 pr travel pants. All of the above are light weight, quick drying items.
- Belt. This came with the pants and I'm only bringing one. Canvas with a plastic buckle.
- 1 long rayon skirt. This may be frivolous extra weight.
- 4 pr tinkle- proof undies
- 3 sports bras
- Pajamas
- Rain jacket
- Rain pants
- Hiking boots
- Teva sandals
- 4 pr smartwool socks. May be too many but I'm thinking I may switch socks mid day to keep feet in good condition.
- 4 pr liners
- Silk scarf
- Hat
Special travel gear:
- Backpack
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow case
- Pacer poles
- Pack cover for rain
- 2 liter Camelback water system
- Little compact daypack that folds up tiny. This is in case we elect to ship main pack ahead instead of carrying it on some days
- Compact clothes line and little clips
- P-style. A gadget that will let me pee standing up if need be
- Several handkerchiefs in ziplock bags.
- 3 pack towels. This is probably one too many, but one is a last minute gift from JT. I'm thinking I may pack one to be accessible for sitting on the ground? And to help with laundry.
- Small paper journal, pens
- Money belt for cash, credit cards, and passport
- Pilgrims passport
Medical stuff: and cosmetics
- Blood sugar tester
- Weekly pill box
- Normal daily meds. I'm taking in bottles for customs. Planning to ditch the bottles in favor of ziplock bags on the trail
- Imodium
- Tums
- Advil
- Pseudofed. There will be pharmacies available so I'm just taking a few of these last 3. Just in case.
- Bandaids
- Moleskin
- Paper tape for blisters
- Sun tan lotion
- Tooth paste, dental floss, toothbrush
- Hairbrush
- Eco travel wash. For soap, shampoo, and laundry
- Extra hair ties. Because I'll go nuts if I can't tie back my hair
- Toe nail clipper
- Sunglasses
Electronic stuff
- I-phone. As camera and computer and kindle reader and audio player if desired
- Apple Watch. I'm tempted to leave this at home but will probably take
- USB cords for these
- A combination battery/charger with 2 USB outlets. This is relatively heavy but.my iPhone doesn't always make it through the day on a charge
- Plug adapter
- Full size headphones. I may regret these. But at least on the plane I like them and I've gotten used to sleeping with them. Should help with snoring companions as I dislike ear plugs.
I think that's it. This includes what I will be wearing. I'll weigh the pack when I'm all packed and ready to go.
